Roy Jones Jr is open to the idea of duking out with Jake Paul after watching him comfortably beat Mike Tyson in a sad fight last month.
Jones Jr was ringside commentating on the controversial crossover clash as a 58-year-old Tyson lost a unanimous decision to🅘 a man 31 years his junior.
In 2020, Jones Jr had boxed to a draw against Tyson in a lucrative exhibition bout.
The fi꧑ght generated more than $80million in pay-per-view revenue from 1.6m buys while Tyson reportedly pocketed $10million an𝔍d Jones $3million.
On the undercard, Paul took on NBA star Nate Robinson in his second profesꦿsional bout - a contest he won via KO.
F🎉our years later, in a full-circle moment, Paul and Tyson ended up in the ring together ☂to put on a low-output affair.

“The fight really did not live up to 🙈the hype,” Jones told BoxingScene.
“You have a 58-year-old man against a 27-year-old man.🐲 We expected more because Mike was a former great🃏 and still is a great.
"Jake is just a guy ♋learning the game. We expected more fireworks from Mike, and Jake, really.
"To be honest, you got your money's worth in the two fights before that in Mario Barrios vs Abel Ramos and Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano.

"To me, you didn't get cheated out of anything."
Asked if he, like so many combat sports icons before him, would consider a fight with Paul, Jones Jr said: "I haven't had any conversations about fighting Jake Paul.
"I am not really a full-fledged heavyweight, but I weigh probably what he weighs right now. It wouldn't be hard to match his weight, I guess.
&q✨uot; They do catch weights, so I’m sure we could figure out the right weight. We can make it happen.
"The only thing different though is he will probably have to take me out because I'm coming to knock him out.
"I'm going to get him, or he's going to get me.
“It wo💃uld be very difficult to pick him apart because he is so powerful and big.
"He has power and is a dangerous puncher. I would beat him, I'm sure, but you would have to be on your A-game all night, especially at my age.”
At his peak, Jones Jr was the pound-for-pound king of boxing for two years and was named 'The Fighter of the Decade' for the 1990s by The Boxing Writers Association of America.
The Florida puncher held world titles in𝓀 four separate weight classes from middleweight🦩 to heavyweight.
However, he is 55 years old and well past his b𒈔𓄧est.
The last time he stepped between the ropes, he looked like a shadow of his former self as he fell to a majority decision defeat to ex-UFC lightweight champ꧅ion and boxing novice Anthony Pettis in April 2023.
