Michail Antonio is in a stable condition after being involved in a car crash, West Ham have confirmed.
Pictures emerged on social media of Antonio's smashed up Ferrari in Essex - close to West Ham owner David Sullivan's house - on Saturday.
The Hammers ꦚforward was trapped inside hi🐼s vehicle for almost an hour as emergency services worked tirelessly to free him.
West Ham have now announced the 34-year-old is conscious and communicating in a centr🎶al London hospital after being airlifted there.
His ex-wife Debbie has travelled from her home in Manchester to be at Antonio's bedside.
A statement read: "West Ham United can confirm that Michail Antonio is in a stable condition fo꧙llowing a road traffic accident this afternoon in the Essex area.

"Michail is conscious and communicating and is currently 🦹under close supervision at a central London hospital.
"At this difficult time, we kindly ask everyone to respect the privacy🐼 of Michail and his family.
"The Club will mak❀e no further comment this evening, but will issue a further update i🧔n due course."
Further to this, The Sun have found out that Antonio is in a 'serious condition'.

A statement from Essex Police said: "We were called shortly after 12.50pm on Saturday 7 D🏅ecember to Coppice Row, Epping, following reports of what is believed to be a single vehicle collision involving a Ferrari.
"Emergency services attended and the driver has been taken to hospital. The vehicle has been recovered and we are no longer on scene. An investi🎀gatꦿion will be carried out by our Roads Policing Unit."
Essex County Fire and Rescue Servi🍸ce said it attended the scene of the accident in Epping on Saturday afternoon♚ and released a man trapped in his car.
"Crews were called at 1.02pm this afternoon after reports of a road traffic coll🐎ision involving one car," it said.
"Firefighters reported that a man was trapped in his car and worked to release him༺ by 1.45pm. The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service."
West Ham earlier offered their thoughts and prayers for Antonio, his family and friends, with 🔜teammates and Premier League clubs quick🉐 to follow suit.

West Ham's update drew relief in the talkSPORT studio as co-hosts Jason Cundy and Jamie O'Hara reacted to the news that Antonio is in a stable condition.
“That’s the best news today,” said Cundy.
O’Hara added: “Yeah, really positive news. There♋ was a lot of worried people out there after seeing some images of his car online – we don’t know whether it was his car or not, but it looked pretty 🐓serious.”
Cundy went on: “The fact that that statement has been rele♏ased by West Ham so soon after the first statement tells me that it’s noꦚthing but good news.”
O'Hara said: “We’re all football fans and we have our teams and rivalries but we all stick together when it comes to football players. Michail Antonio is a great football player.
“We wish him all the best and 🃏hope he comes back.”
Antonio was involved in a less serious car crash in 2019 on Christmas Day.
The Jamaica star has sco♏red 83 goals for West Ham in 323 games, becoming their all-time leading Premi💧er League goalscorer and a hugely popular character, both on and off the pitch.
The striker last featured for the Hamm🌳ers in the 3-1 defeat to Leicester on T♍uesday night.
West Ham are due to face Wolves in the Premier League on Monday nꦚight.
Antonio began his career෴ with seventh tier side Tooting and Mitcham United, during which time he worked part-ti🐲me as a lifeguard, before being handed his big break with Reading in 2008.
While Antonio's move to Reading was a career-changing moment, there were plenty more ups and downs as he was lo👍aned out to five different clubs in four years with the Chaඣmpionship side.
Th🐠is included an brief return to Tooting and Mitcham, before ultimately proving himself at Sheffield Wednesday in the last of his loan spells, which earned him a💮 permanent move in 2012.

It was at this point that Antonio's career began to take off, as he was snapped up by Nottingham Forest two years later, where he netted 14 Championship goals from the wing in his debut season.
