Tony Finau's wife has responded to rampant whispers the PGA Tour star is headed to LIV Golf.
The rumour mill was kicked into overdrive when Finau was a surprising late withdrawal from the Hero World Challenge, which commences on Thursday in the Bahamas.
Golf superstar Tiger Woods, a stalwart and staunch advocate of the PGA Tour, h💝osts the limited-field event but will not participate due to his ongoing injury issues.
🥀Finau was slated to compete alongside the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Ludvig Aberg and Patrick Cantlay among others.
However, the six-time PGA Tour winner pulled 𒁃out of the event and did not provide an explanation why, with world No. 39 Sepp Straka drafted in as his replacement.
With Finau opting to snub an event featuring a raft of PGA Tour stars, it's ignited talk he is closer to a switch to LIV Golf than ever before.

Another factor that has many anticipating Finau's switch is the fact he has not registered for The Sentry at Kapalua in January, the first event of the 2025 PGA Tour season.
Such is the noise surrounding the rumours, the 35-year-old's wife, Layna, referenced it in a TikTok video.
Layna filmed herself w🧔ith audio playing from the Hannah Mon𝓡tana show, where Miley Cyrus says: "My life is complicated enough. The last thing I need is more drama. Hey, Miley. Hello, drama."
She also includes a shot of a shirtless Finau in a white🌃 Nike cap standing by a pool and looking rath✱er relaxed.

Whispers of Finau's mooted switch comes after an unnamed LIV general manager in November there could be some added star power joining the rebel circuit.
"With what the inside rumblings are, I would guess that there's going to be one or two big names coming over," the general manager said.
The general maಌnager added: "Two guys that had very big offers that are now calling would love to be [on a LIV team] and said that🅘 was the worst decision they made is not accepting the offer and coming over."
Should Finau end up joining LIV Golf, he has the opportunity to link up with his close pal Jon Rahm, who moved to the rebel tour in December.
It is estimated Rahm's deal with the breakaway circuit could potentially reach an eye-watering £450million.
Rahm has a spare spot on his Legion XIII team after Kieran Vincent was relegated, leaving the door wide 💦open for Finau.
Also on Rahm's Legion XIII team are English Ryder Cup star Tyrrell Hatton and American Caleb Surratt.
Finau had previously been linked with a switch to the Saudi-backed tour for the 2024 season and didn't exactly shut down talk when asked about the move.
"I have nothing to say ri🐽ꦗght now," Finau told reporters in 2023.
"I haven't heard anything."
Finau added: "I haven't let anything marinate other than just playing right now."
The 2025 LIV ꦆGolf season kicks off on February 8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
