The future of Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has been a hot topic this season.
'America's Team' have underwhelmed once again in 2024, and are in serious danger of missing out on the playoffs with a 5-7 record heading into Week 14.
To add to their issues, Dak Prescott has been on the sidelines since he suffered a se🌠ason-ending injury in early November.
When their star quarterback went down against the Atlanta Falcons, the Cowboys went on to lose, before dropping two more games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans.
Naturally, the slump led to many fans calling for McCarthy to be fired, and even back-to-back wins against divisional rivals the Washington Commanders and fellow strugglers the New♋ York Giants have not done much to quell that feeling.
But owner Jerry Jones has come out in support of his coach ꦇin recent weeks, and now he has been joined ꦺby Prescott.

The 31-year-old 🦄star has suggested he would be keen to see McCarthy sign a new contract.
"I believe in him wholeheartedlಞy," Prescott said on Tuesday.
"I don't want to necessarily get into the nuts and the screws of it all obviously, but I think he definitely deserves a chance - another contract and a chance to coach this team amongst more influence. 'On his terms' may be a good way to say it.
"But I wholeheartedly believe in him."

Prescott risks the wrath💙 of irate Cowboys fans by coming out in support of his coach.
In fact, he has already been savaged by Stephen A. Smith for his remarks, who ripped into the QB on ESPN's First Take.
"I don't know if it was smart or dumb (for Prescott to back McCarthy)," Smith began.
"I can give less than a damn about what Dak Prescott had to say about that. Why don't you go out and win for him, then there wouldn't be a discussion.
"You have been starting quarterback for tไhe Dallas Cowboys for nine years, an💝d you got two playoff victories to show for it.
"What do I care? At some point in time you have the ability to go out there and shut everybody up and you haven't got it done."
While he savaged Prescott for his role in the Cowboys' struggles, Smith went on to clarify that he thinks McCarthy is a 'good coach', but that there are better options who could succeed in Dallas.
"He's not ignorant or obvious to football, but do I think there's a better guy - like a Bill Belichick - sure," he continued.
"But that's no shade on Mike McCarthy. I think he's a good coach and if he kept his job, I don't think we could say it's a stupid decision by the Cowboys."
